Day 1: Vinicunca

Day trip to the 7-color mountain. Early departure to reach the parking lot and then walk for about 2 hours to the viewpoint. Return to Cusco around 5 p.m. Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 2: Km 82 → Ayapata

Distance: 14 km Elevation gain: +850 m Duration: 6-7 hours of walking. Bus transfer to the start: kilometer 82, official entrance to the Inca Trail. Walk through the Urubamba Valley with a first gradual climb. Passage through the archaeological site of Llactapata before reaching the Ayapata camp.

Jour 3 : Ayapata → Warmihuañusca → Pacaymayo

Distance: 16 km Elevation gain: +1,200 m / - 600 m Duration: 8-9 hours of walking A demanding day with the ascent of the Warmihuañusca pass (4,215 m), nicknamed the "dead woman's pass", the highest point of the trek. Descent towards the Pacaymayo valley to set up camp.

Day 4 : Hidden River → Runcuracay → Cloud Market

Distance: 15 km Elevation gain: +1,000 m / - 1,000 m Duration: 8-9 hours of walking Passing through several Inca sites, including Runcuracay and Sayacmarca. Climb to the second pass (3,950 m), then gradually descend through a cloud forest to the Phuyupatamarca camp, nicknamed "the city above the clouds".

Jour 4 : Pacaymayo → Runcuracay → Phuyupatamarca

Jour 5 : Cloud Market → Growth → Machu Picchu

Distance: 10 km Elevation gain: -1,200 m Duration: 5-6 hours of walking Descend by stairs to the site of Wiñayhuayna, the last major ruin before Machu Picchu. Arrival at the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) offering a first spectacular view of the Inca city. Visit Machu Picchu, then descend by bus to Aguas Calientes for a night at the Picchu hotel. Lunch break, then walk along the railway to Aguas Calientes (2,040 m). Last night before the final climb to Machu Picchu! Night at the hotel.

Jour 5 : Phuyupatamarca → Wiñayhuayna → Machu Picchu

Day 6: Machu Picchu

The long-awaited visit to Machu Picchu! Then walk to Machu Picchu mountain or Wayna Picchu mountain (your choice). To finish return at the end of the day to Cusco. Night in Cusco
