Desert Islands and the Hidden Oasis
Embark on a getaway between ocean and desert with this 2-day tour to Paracas and Huacachina. Upon arrival, embark on a boat excursion to the famous Ballestas Islands, true jewels of the Peruvian coast. You will observe fascinating fauna, between sea lions, penguins and a multitude of sea birds evolving in their natural habitat.
After this sea adventure, head to Huacachina, a spectacular oasis surrounded by golden dunes. Enjoy an enchanting setting to relax before experiencing thrills, why not a sandboarding session. In the evening you will go see the sunset over the desert...
The next day, soak up this unique atmosphere one last time before hitting the road again towards Lima. A perfect adventure between nature, adrenaline and unique landscapes.
Itinerary
Day 1
Departure 7:30 am for the seaside resort of Paracas (approximately 4 hours). Arrival in Paracas, we will go to the El Chaco pier from where we will leave for the Ballestas Islands by boat. Lunch in Paracas then departure for the city of Ica and the oasis of Huacachina (1h30). Free afternoon to discover the Oasis and the dunes. Night at the hotel in La Huacachina.
Day 2
8:00 am - Transfer to the land terminal in Ica. Return to Lima or continue your trip.
